WHERE DOES YOUR PASSION FOR BRIDAL COME FROM?
Quite honestly, as long as I can remember I loved weddings and wedding dresses. I have copious amounts of photos of me playing dress up and always in a wedding dress! I used to "style" my friends with veils and accessories when we would play together. There's an iconic photo my mom has of me when I was 3 years old in a wedding dress, with the veil over my face, and a baby doll stuffed in the dress because I always wanted to be a wife and a mom!
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WISH BRIDES KNEW BUT YOU CAN’T TELL THEM?
The smaller the group, the better. You can easily make the appointment about pleasing your guests, when this moment is all about you! You will have so many bridal related things throughout this season that you can invite others to, like alterations appointments, or going shoe and accessory shopping. Don't overwhelm yourself with bringing too many cooks to the kitchen when picking out your bridal look.
WHAT’S ONE OF YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN BRIDAL?
Having a private showing of Eisen Stein at the Plaza Hotel during New York Bridal Fashion Week was absolutely unreal. Being up close and personal with literal works of art will never get old and I will never take it for granted!
HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING IN BRIDAL?
5 years, although it feels like longer!
WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT OUTSIDE OF WORK?
IF YOU COULD GIVE YOUR BRIDES ONE PIECE OF MARRIAGE/WEDDING ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Outside of work, you can find me hiking with my husband and my dogs and belting Broadway tunes!
Always work towards growing together. The person you marry at 25 is not going to be the same person at 35, 45, 55 and beyond- and neither will you! We are such dynamic beings, and you never know what changes life can bring and it's important to handle those changes together, as a team!
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE WEDDING DRESS DESIGNER?
As a bride that leans more traditional, I love how Justin Alexander blends classic looks with modern elements! I am always so excited to see his newest collections and it feels like each one is better than the last!
